Technical details of the AAT plates used to make the AAT series of colour pictures

Column 1. AAT running ID number
Column 2. Object name/description
Column 3. Approximate image centre, RA and Dec., J2000
Column 4. Constellation (of plate centre)
Column 5. AAT plate log sequence numbers
A or B suffix corrects sequence errors in plate log .
Column 6. The Kodak emulsion/filter-glass combination used for the exposure.
With Schott glass filters (GG 385, GG 495, RG 630 etc.) the short wavelenght cut-on
is determined by the emulsion, the long wavelength cut-off by the filter.
      The usual combinations are:
      B-band (blue, nominally 385 - ~500nm)
      IIa-O + GG 385 filter
      V-band (green, nominally 495 - ~600nm)
      IIa-D + GG 495 filter
      R-band (red, nominally 590 or 630 - ~700nm)
      098-04 or IIIa-F + RG 610 or 630 filter
BF and VF prefixes refer to the AAO interference filters used to approximate
the photometric B and V bands on IIIa-J or IIIa-F plates.
Column 7. Exposure time in minutes.
Column 8. UT date exposure commenced.
Column 9. The observers -- the people who took the plates -- and the image processing.

Details of the many intermediate processes were used to make additive RGB images are omitted.
Column 12. Creation date of original additive RGB image.
Column 13. Film copies used (and their size), and archive address for final (current) version.
