Field Plate Layout
This image shows the layout of science, fiducial and guide fibres on the FMOS-Echidna field plate. The inner circle represents the 0.5° diameter. The outer circle contains spines than can access the 0.5° field. Red rectangles represent the field of view of the FPI camera and the scanning pattern used for spine-position feedback.
