The Max-Planck-Institut für
Extraterrestriche Physik's instrument is available on the AAT for
four semesters (until 99A) and is a novel integral field spectrometer
for use at H- and K-bands. It can simultaneously obtain 256 H-
or K-band spectra at R=1100 or 2100 from a filled 16×16 pixel
field on the sky.
