MPE's 3D Imaging NIR Spectrometer (3D)

AAT Instrument.
In Brief: The Max-Planck-Institut für Extraterrestriche Physik's instrument is available on the AAT for four semesters (until 99A) and is a novel integral field spectrometer for use at H- and K-bands. It can simultaneously obtain 256 H- or K-band spectra at R=1100 or 2100 from a filled 16×16 pixel field on the sky.
