Studies of Nearby Active Galaxies in X-rays with Chandra

I will describe some of our work on nearby radio galaxies (e.g. Cyg A, Pic A
and M87), Seyfert galaxies (e.g. NGC 1068, NGC 4151) and low luminosity AGN
(e.g. NGC 4258, M51), emphasising the nature of extended X-ray structures
associated with the nuclei, jets, lobes, hot spots and the narrow line region.
