Freedom of Information

The Freedom of Information Act 1982 (the FOI Act) provides a general right of access to documents held by the Department of Industry, Innovation, Science, Research and Tertiary Education and other Commonwealth agencies.

From 1 May 2011, the Australian Astronomical Observatory (AAO) is required to maintain a list of documents released under the FOI Act. Information about the documents released by AAO will be available from the Freedom of Information Disclosure Log available on the Department of Innovation website.
