DIGITAL IMAGES
All AAO colour images are available as high-quality digital files (RGB .TIF or .JPG format) for book and magazine publication. They are in a range of sizes and formats up to about 100Mb (22.5 x 28.5cm -- 9 x 11 inches at 600dpi) and can be supplied on CD-ROM or by ftp. Contact us for more details.
For personal use the JPEG files on the WWW pages can be downloaded from our anonymous ftp directory. Please note the images are copyright and any commercial or www use requires written permission. Please read the file aao_legal.txt at the top of that directory.
2007 AAO CALENDAR
As always, the AAO calendar combines new, wide-field images with familiar favourites from the AAO telescopes. The 2007 calendar commemorates the 20th anniversary of supernova 1987A and covers 13 months, from January 2007 to January 2008, each with its own picture and a short but informative caption. The calendar costs $AUD9.95 and is available from Bartel Publications (external site).
COLOUR PRINTS
200 x 250mm (8 x 10 inch) glossy prints of most of the AAT and UK Schmidt
colour subjects listed on these pages are available. These prints cost
$(A)20 each. A smaller
selection of subjects is available as 400 x 500mm (16 x 20 inch) prints.
These cost $(A)50 each (overseas airmail is extra). These prints are of the highest commercial quality and are available on request.
We are happy supply exhibition-quality prints and display transparencies (backlits) of the highest quality of all of our images up to 127 x 160cm (about 50 x 62 inches). These prints are individually made to order. Decide what image(s) and what size you want and contact us for a quotation.
