Various topics were discussed, including the revision of the Universal
Decimal Classification Scheme (the system used in the AAO Library), electronic
resources and maintaining a WWW home page. We were also interested to hear
from Uta Grothkopf of ESO about the Special Libraries Association conference
held in Boston earlier in .June. A major area of interest was that of electronic
publication of journals, something which will be of great concern to us
all for some time to come.
A number of new books have been acquired since the last Newsletter,
and can be found on the display shelves.
