The Coude Echelle SpectrographsThe Spectral Format is given for the UHRF in R=1.0M mode. For R=0.6M and R=0.3M the linear dispersion and order separation must be scaled by factors of 0.6 or 0.3 respectively.
Separate tables are given for each of the four cross-dispersing gratings, with some overlap.
These tables give theoretical values calculated on 2/6/93 by Francisco Diego. Note that the measured dispersion at the 6328.160 A laser wavelength is 0.1342 A/mm, 10% lower than the theoretical value of 0.1480 A/mm used in these tables.
Though the MITLL2 usually covers 3 orders, normally only one is of interest. The unvignetted size of the available detectors are: Tek - 24.58 mm and MITLL2 - 49.50 mm. Pixel sizes are 0.024 mm and 0.015 mm respectively.
