In this section we describe the FIGARO echelle data reduction package written by William Lupton and Keith Shortridge, borrowing heavily from the Caltech package kindly supplied by Jim McCarthy. Other suitable software exist, such as NOAO's IRAF package and David Mills' ECHOMOP. Documentation for those packages should be sought from their sources.
