That is part of the work I'm doing with César Esteban, Sergio Simón-Díaz, Jorge García-Rojas and Luis López-Martín (IAC). We obtained narrow-band images in [O III], Hα and [SII] filters of a sample Galactic H II regions (Orion Neb., Lagoon Neb., Eagle Neb., Cocoon Neb., Crescent Neb. among others) to analyse their ionization structure and, using complementary optical spectroscopy of both the ionized gas and the ionizing star, compare the observed properties with the predictions given by photoionization models such CLOUDY.
