The Southern SERENDIP project at the National Museum

Frank Stootman, University of Western Sydney

The UWS Southern SERENDIP project will be on display at the new National Museum in Canberra from mid November 2001. As part of the display the public will see how live data from the Parkes Radio Telescope is analysed via computers using software tools developed at UWS by the author. This poster session introduces these self standing software tools which are an attempt to bridge the gap between professional science and general public appreciation and understanding of SETI.
