Observational Cosmology
Emission-line
galaxy detections from the TTF Galaxy Redshift Survey taken from Heath
Jones' (MSSSO) thesis work. The survey identifies line emitting galaxies
in clusters and in the field out to z~1. Crude photometric redshifts remove
any line ambiguity. For more details, see Heath's web

Gravitationally
lensed starburst galaxy (z=3.59) from the Galaxy-Galaxy Lensing Survey
of Paul Hewett (IoA, Cambridge) & Steve Warren (IC, London). See the
Feb 1999 issue of the AAO newsletter for more details. The lensing galaxy
at z=0.485 is the red object to the north, and the Ly-a emission from the
star forming galaxy appears blue. This is the first unambiguous detection
of a galaxy-galaxy lens.
Structure
forming around a quasar at z=0.9: see Jo Baker's conference
summary on astro-ph. Interested parties can contact Jo (Hubble Fellow,
Berkeley) for the paper submitted to AJ. These images show the field both
on and off band, how one of
the objects was detected in [OII], and spectroscopic
confirmation.
