The total system efficiency curve is plotted below, for both detectors
at a range of operating temperatures. This includes losses due to
atmospheric absorption,
Taurus-2 optics (0.60),
TTF Fabry-Perot filter (0.90),
blocking filter (0.90) and
CCD quantum efficiency. An adjustment is also made for the triangular
shape of the Airy profile within its FWHM (0.75).
These calculations give a reliable estimate of system performance.
