PHASE B PROJECT DEFINITION

This area, based on the Phase B study conducted at RSAA (WPD10) is intended to be a full set of specifications for the PN Spectrograph. It includes links to the files containing the optical and mechanical plans. It includes the results of the Phase B study into stray light and vignetting. It also contains quotes for all the external optics, and when these quotes are revised they will be placed in this area. The Phase B report was initially done on the basis of 1200 g/mm gratings but a revised report was prepared in October 1999. Included in the WORD file:

Supplementary report on the 600 g/mm grating arrangement
