ROSAT.

The ROSAT X-ray telescope (XRT) consisted of the X-ray mirror assembly, a magnetic deflector, two South Atlantic anomaly detectors, and three focal-plane detectors: 2 position sensitive proportional counters (PSPCs) with their filters and a High Resolution Imager (HRI). The X-ray mirror assembly and the PSPCs are described below. For a full description of the ROSAT telescope and its performance see Briel et al. (1996).
