Steve Lee's Page of Astronomy

Welcome!

I have one of the best possible jobs in the world for an amateur astronomer. I work as a night assistant at the Anglo-Australian Observatory, which means that I get in on the action of professional astronomy, plus I get to live and pursue my hobby under dark skies away from the big city. If you want to see more of what I do, follow the following links...

My pages are divided into 2 sections - one for my work, and one for my hobby. It is sometimes hard to distinguish the two, the chief difference being that I tend to do my work at the AAT, and hobby is mostly done from home - but that's not always the case...

My work. If you want to find out more about what I do at the AAT.

My hobby. To learn more about my telescopes, other aspects of my hobby, or just to see some of the images I've taken. (Images last updated: 2008/03/26)
