Catalogues

  • SNORE Group.  (SuperNOva REmnant Group).  Contains recent papers by SNORE members on SNRs. This site also has a catalogue of X-ray SNRs and a list of the count rates and unresolved X-ray sources in SNR fields.
  • Michael Richmond's Home Page. List of SNe (some from the 1950's, 60's, 70's and early 80's, but mostly post 1988)and distant SNe.  Also contains published material by Richmond.
  • Galactic Supernova Remnants.  Catalogue compiled by Dave Green for MRAO (Mullard Radio Astronomy Observatory).  Also contains abstracts.
  • Cortina Astronomical Association, Italy.  List of 95/96 SN with images and information on host galaxies.
  • List of Supernovae.  This page gives details on all supernovae reported since 1885.
  • List of Recent Supernovae.  This page gives details on supernovae that have occurred since the start of 1995.
  • Sternberg Astronomical Institute.  Contains a catalogue of 1051 extragalactic SNe and their parent galaxies.  Also contains recent publications from this supernovae research group.

Archives for SNe and SNRs

  • The Supernoava Nexus.  Information on recent (96) SNe with some CCD images and spectra.  Links to High-Z SNe research and SINS.
  • SNORE Group.  (SuperNOva REmnant Group).  Contains recent papers by SNORE members on SNRs. This site also has a catalogue of X-ray  SNRs and a list of the count rates and unresolved X-ray sources in SNR fields.
  • SuperNovae Key Project.  CCD images, information from IAU circulars, information on host galaxies and other bits SN1995D, SN1995F and SN1995G.
  • VSNET Supernovae Page. Information on some recent SNe with some light curves and CCD images.
  • The Astronomer Magazine, U.K.  Some light curves, CCD images and electronic-circulars for recent SNe.
  • Distant Supernova Search.  The ultimate goal of the present program is to identify some 50 supernovae at redshift of 0.3 or higher in order to measure Omega to a statistical accuracy of 0.3rms.  A light curve and CCD images.
  • Mount Stromlo Observatory.  Photographic images and iinformation on some 1996 SNe.
  • Galactic SNRs; Summary X-ray Data.  Einstein data for SNR are available as images on magnetic tape or diskette and as tables of counting rates. These have been published in the Astrophysical Journal Supplements (Seward, 1990), and preprints are available on request. This Catalog contains 3 tables; a tape containing the FITS images may be obtained by request.
