15 February 2002: Minister for Science, the Honourable Peter McGauran MP, visits the AAO

During the Minister's visit AAO staff gave him an overview of the organisation's recent scientific and technical successes, particularly the instrumentation program. He expressed his support for the AAO and its vision for the future.
