Prime Focus Camera (PFC)

AAT Instrument. The Prime Focus Camera is a decommissioned facility and is no longer offered or supported at the AAT. The following information is provided for historical completeness.

In Brief The prime focus camera cn be used with the portable CCD detectors or photographic plates. Filter and plate changes are manual, as is guide star acquisition. CCD imaging can be made at f/3.3, or though a focal reducer to f/1 for wide-field imaging.
