Most modern telescopes maintain a publicly accessible archive of data. We recommend checking for existing observations before applying to use any of these telescope. Here we list the known open archives for ITSO-supported facilities:
- Data from the Gemini North and South telescopes can be accessed from the Gemini Observatory Archive.
- Data from the Keck telescopes are available at the Keck Observatory Archive.
- The Blanco telescope DECam data is hosted on the NOAO Science Archive. The Dark Energy Survey (DES) DES-Y1 data release consists of science observations taken between September 2013 and early February 2014, while the DECam Legacy Survey (DECaLS) third data release (DR3) consists of science observations taken mainly between August 2014 and March 2016.
- There are currently no public archives for Magellan telescope data.
All requests for assistance and information regarding new proposals, available instruments, etc. should be handled through telescope help desks where possible. If you wish to contact ITSO staff use the Contact area or email general queries to email@example.com.
